Celebrating 12 Years of Excellence

Based on the legendary culinary skills of the late Randy Maurer, Randall’s uses the finest fresh local ingredients to offer a menu featuring steaks, seafood, and the wonderfully creative cuisine for which he was so well known. We’re proud to offer a mixture of Randall’s classics along with a weekly rotating selection of featured menu items, making every dining experience with us as unique as your first.

Randall’s is conveniently located in the midst of the beautiful rolling hills of Orefield, Pennsylvania. The delightfully restored Queen Victoria Hotel, originally constructed in 1835, features several dining rooms that each provide unique elements for an outstanding dining experience.

The Queen Victoria Room, our main dining room, provides spacious seating.

The Orchard Room displays the scenic all-season beauty of the Pennsylvania countryside.

The Hillside Room and The Boardroom feature quiet, intimate ambiance, making either the perfect room for family dinners and small meetings.

The Patio Tent offers a covered outdoor area, perfect for any season. It is heated on cooler days, and the sides are fully opened if the weather permits. We also offer outdoor tables on our beautiful patio outside of the tent.

Complementing four unique dining areas, our expansive bar offers a wide selection of beverages including signature cocktails, a rotating craft beer selection, and finely curated wine collection. Whichever room you choose to dine in, our knowledgeable and experienced staff will ensure a superbly enjoyable experience.

The History of 2016 Applewood Drive

The building which today houses Randall’s was originally constructed in 1835 as the Snydersville Hotel, a one story brick structure. The hotel was operated by the Snyder family until May of 1900 when Harry C. Trexler, along with a group of companions, purchased the property to establish The Hillside Club. This led to an extensive renovation of the property, expanding the size of the base structure, and adding two wooden floors, giving the building an appearance much closer to it’s current state. Despite these efforts, the club was not meant to be, and was shuttered in July of the same year, becoming The Hillside Hotel until September of 1974 when it was re-branded as The Queen Victoria Hotel.

From this point on, the hotel became well known for its nightly musical performances, hosting a variety of acts including country music and jazz groups. In January of 1980, the property was acquired by a new group of owners and turned into The House of Strawberries. The restaurant continued until April of 2000 when it was again purchased and opened as The Orchard Meat & Fish Co, undertaking further renovations to the building, including the addition of the now iconic Orchard Room. The property changed hands one final time, with a brief stint as The Applewood Grille. In 2011, Randall’s on the Orchard opened to the public, reintroducing the culinary expertise of Randy Maurer to the Lehigh Valley which our team continues to this day.
